Our table was very pretty with candles, and very cozy with the wood paneling. My husband got a homemade "Ale" that he loved. It's a micro-brew made with wheat. I got a house glass of red wine, which was very good. I was going to get the Kendall Jackson zinfadel, but they let me have a taste of their house wine, and I decided to stay with that. My grandson got a Roy Rogers. He's 10 years old so we told them not to make it too strong! haha. They brought out a basket of hot, just out of the oven, bread sticks, and sour dough french bread. They also brought out a half loaf of garlic  bread that my husband ordered. It's not just flavored with garlic. It's their home made sourdough bread baked right there, and they put on lots of real pieces of chopped roasted garlic, parsley, butter, and real pieces of shredded parmesian cheese melted.  

They also brought out a plate of salami, cheeses, and a bowl of garbanzo beans & red beans. Now all we ordered so far was the drinks. They just serve all of this to anyone having dinner there. You get soup and salad with your dinner also. So, we had a choice between the minestrone, or the New England Clam  Chowder. We have had the minestrone many times and it is delicious loaded with veggies.So all three of us, opted for the clam chowder this time. It was unbelievably delicious. Very creamy with real fresh clams, not canned. Then they brought the salads which were mixed greens with radiccio, tomatoes, red onion, carrots, and  more garbanzo beans and red beans. We were really getting filled by that time, when they brought out our dinner. I knew we would need lots of take home boxes.

Anyway, my grandson had lasagna, which was very gooey with lot's of cheese, meat, and homemade marinara sauce. My husband and I both had rib eye steaks. They were cooked to perfection, and were served with mushrooms in a wine, garlic, butter sauce, grilled zuccini and yellow squash, red garlic mashed potatoes. And they brought in a side dish of home made raviloli, smothered in that home made marinara sauce and gooey cheese. Plus, parmesian cheese. Again my husband said we didn't order that. And the waitress said that is just served with all dinners.

I took a bite out of the ravioli, and a few of the steak and packed the rest up in boxes. It was way too much but would be great as another meal tomorrow. My grandson took two bites also and said he wanted dessert. I said no dessert you will be sick. They have scrumptious desserts there but who can eat dessert with all that food? They have a hot fudge molten cake served with ice cream, cheesecake, apple & banana fritters, all kinds of pies including blackberry, ice cream sundaes, Tiramisu, Creme Brulee, carrot cake, and their famous mud pie, along with a chocolate mouse pie. We finally agreed to get him a apple fritter to go. When we left, it looked like we had gone food shopping with all the bags of food we took home.On a scale of five stars, with five being the best, I would definitely give them 5.O
