The Pink Elephant, our local roadside watering hole since 1937. Tim Parker, a lifelong Monte Rio resident, purchased the Pink last summer with an SBA loan from First Community Bank. Tim has been busy renovating the Pink inside and out. He also has added live music on
Thursdays
and on weekends and is now offering bar food including freshly made
pizza.
Where else can you find such a diverse crowd where everyone is always
made to feel
welcome? While the Pink has survived the ups and downs of the decades,
it is
certainly an asset to our community today. Thanks Tim for your vision
