Refurbished, and appointed with period furnishings and artwork, The Happy Days is a quiet and peaceful respite. Here, one can begin writing that long put-off book or compose an aria on the upright piano, all inspired by a view of the redwoods occupied by busy squirrels and Steller's Jays. It is a 15-minute walk down the hill to town, the local cafes and the beach. If you prefer a robust walk, hike along the old lumber trails amidst the conifers and redwoods. Or, if you prefer to sit and soak up the ambience, there is the main or lower garden.
